Honouring the Unseen
A Death Witchcraft workshop
Service Description
Ancestral Witchcraft for the Ones History Forgot Not every ancestor was celebrated. Some lived on the edges of society. Some died too young. Some carried mental illness, disability or neurodivergence in times that offered little understanding. Some experienced violence, addiction, imprisonment, poverty or institutionalisation. Others simply disappeared from family memory altogether. Yet they remain part of the story. In this one hour live workshop, we will explore how witchcraft can become an act of remembrance, restoring relationship with those whose lives were hidden, silenced or misunderstood. Together we will consider what it means to honour the forgotten, not through fear or obligation, but through compassion, ritual and witness. During our time together we will explore: • The forgotten archetypes within our ancestral lines • Building a simple grief altar as a place of remembrance and connection • Practical rituals to honour those who died tragically or lived beyond society's accepted norms • Ways to work with difficult ancestral stories without glorifying harm or bypassing complexity • Creating an ongoing personal practice of remembrance as we approach the darker half of the year This workshop is suitable whether you know your family history in great detail or very little at all. You are welcome to honour blood ancestors, chosen family, community elders or those whose names have been lost to history. You will leave with practical rituals you can begin immediately, along with a deeper understanding of how remembrance itself can become a sacred act. Monday 11 August 8pm to 9pm BST Live on Zoom Recording available for everyone who books £10 sliding scale
